In Blackjack, cards are counted from 2 to 10 according to their value. The face cards Jack, Queen and King count as 10, while the Ace is counted as either 1 or 11. You have a Blackjack if your first two cards are an ace and a card of value 10.
If you win, you get a 1:1 payout, unless you have a Blackjack, in which case you get a 3:2 payout. With insurance, you collect a 2:1 payout.
